How to make an "Ugandan Ginger Tea"

How to:

  1. Set the milk, tea and sugar to boil
  2. Wash a thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger
  3. Pound until flat, where juice should begin to ooze
  4. Add the ginger to the milk-tea mixture when it begins to boil
  5. Reduce the heat, letting it all simmer for 2-3 minutes
