How to make a "Hot Buttered Cranberry Punch"
Ingredients:
- 16 oz jellied cranberry juice
- 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground allspice
- 1/8 tsp ground cloves
- 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups unsweetened pineapple juice
- butter
How to:
- Crush cranberry sauce with a fork
- Mix with sugar, spices and salt
- Add water and pineapple juice
- Cover and simmer 2 hours
- Ladle into mugs and float a pat of butter in each serving
