How to make a "Bourbon Crusta"

How to:

  1. Place the sugar in a saucer
  2. Rub the rim of a wine goblet with a lemon wedge, and dip into the sugar to coat the rim thoroughly; discard lemon
  3. Peel a spiral of orange peel and place inside the glass, draped over one side
  4. Fill with crushed ice
  5. Combine the bourbon whiskey, Cointreau, maraschino and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker
  6. Shake well, strain into the glass, and serve
