How to:

  1. Pour vermouth, gin, brandy, Pernod, lemon juice and grenadine into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes
  2. Shake well, and strain into an old-fashioned glass almost filled with ice cubes
  3. Garnish with a maraschino cherry, and serve
