  1. Add the sugar to a highball glass
  2. Add water and sherry, and stir to dissolve sugar
  3. Almost fill the glass with crushed ice, and add club soda
  4. Float the benedictine on top
  5. Garnish with a lemon twist, a dusting of nutmeg and cinnamon, and serve
