How to make a "Frank Davis Punch"
Ingredients:
- 1 liter gold tequila
- 1.5 liters (2 bottles) chilled Champagne
- 3 liters (4 bottles) chilled Sauternes white wine
- 1 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup superfine sugar
- 1 large honeydew melon
How to:
- Stir the lemon juice and sugar together in a large punch bowl until the sugar is dissolved
- Add the tequila, champagne and sauternes, and stir well
- Add one large block of ice
- Garnish with melon balls, cut out from a honeydew melon
- Makes 36 (6-ounce) punch cups
